Hi Tony: Rudy Vaughn (sax, guitar & vocals - and incredile with all three (3) instruments when he played with our Atlanta based "Guild of Sound,") is coming to London with his own group after winning here a recent national battle of the bands. His sound is unique, and after speaking with him today by phone, I thought I give him your contact information. In the meantime, I miss working with you from our 'ole Kokomo days. If you would, email me at the address that you have. My electronic contact information has not changed, though my addresss has since we last spoke by phone - as yours has as well. Much love! Sussewell.

Great gig last night at the 606. Its been over 30 years since we last saw you on a regular basis with Kokomo. Think your voice has got better with age - absolutely superb, and Mel and Neil have not lost their touch either. Its good to see you are still surrounding yourself with great musicians, who enjoy their gig's. Untill the next time - and I promise you it won't be 30+ years, keep up the good work!

Glad to see you're still alive and well as the saying goes. One of my most treasured cassettes is Kokomo live at the Cricketers with Joe Cocker doing a couple of numbers as an encore. Delbert McClinton's Jealous Kind was one. Glorious. Thank you for all the warm feelings you only get from real music. best

Hi Tony
Can never get it together, or get a babysitter, to get to up to London to see you at the 606. We were in the Three Mariners yesterday and had fond memories of your gig ther last summer. Are you likely to play ther again this year? Would be great to see you and introduce you to Nancy who will be 3 in August & to see how Eric has changed (13 going on 40) since you last saw him - maybe 11 years ago. Hope you and the familly are well and that your forthcoming gigs go well too.
Love

What a night out!!
606 on Sunday was a Blast. The whole Band seemed to be right on it ! The new song was very good, can't wait for the next album, to hear the other new stuff. I Think the new collaboration with Simon Eden will reap major benifits!
Great to see your so happy with Life....see you again at Goodwood. Regards to all the Band.

Tony's music is the perfection .... thank you For all ....
Dear Tony
It's a long time since we spoke but I was moved to send this message by finding the YouTube clip of Kokomo doing "I Can Understand It" some time last year and was immediately transported back to the Hope & Anchor on Upper Street in about 1974. Very moving to see you together again, all playing and singing just as beautifully. I wanted to sign you to Island back then but Steve O'Rourke had other plans... ah well. See you again one day soon, I hope.
Best regards, Richard Williams

Tony, great site, have always loved the Kokomo Albums, especially the first, and have just bought the reissued double cd. This has brought me to search for info online, thereby stumbling on your website. I had also been wondering what Hamish Stuart was doing and up popped the info about playing in his pub!
Listening to Kokomo again has been great but now I've listened to your samples I am just going on the net to buy a couple of albums.
Been living in Nigeria for 12 years so buying new music to listen to on my return, hope to hear you playing live soon, also Hamish.
Cheers

HI Tone, Fem, Patrick and Joseph,
We think of you all and look forward to seeing you soon in Brussels, a city Mary Dover does not like! But Mary, there's no need to be insulting to all the people who live there who are also going through an idenity crisis of there own. Nothing compared to the dreadful things we see coming from Georgia, but just the mis-use of power by people who call themselves polititians and are meant to be working FOR the people, but, like all men in government, work for their own ends.
Words said by people, however well intended - like Mary - are the words that exacerbate the problems of the world and the worst sort of English attitude. Sorry Mary, maybe we will meet one day and sort it out over a bottle of red wine!
LOL to you all!

Hello Tony!
Remember me from the Kokomo days? (I guess it's been about 30 years!) You and I got pretty drunk one night at the pub near the old Royal Free at Grays Inn Road. (Southern Comfort if I remember correctly). I was a student nurse. We met at Dingwalls. We were friends for a while. I had heard you were in Georgia and I was worried about you. I'm relieved to find out that you and your family are OK. Stay safe. You and yours are in my thoughts.

Tony, Femke... You guys have been on my heart for quite awhile now. From the USA, I don't trust the media, always knowing what the motivation was for the attacks however unjustified. Local media here in the USA are only now coming out with what many already knew. On the other hand, I was very glad to get your email a few days ago reporting that you and your Family are well and in the midst of your plans. Please man... stay in touch; I'm on the move too, as I reported in my email response back to you. With much love, respect and hope that one day we'll work together again.

Dear Tony, it was great to see you and the band in the atmospheric 606 club, following the chilly Abbeyfest! "Oh" is fast becoming a favourite, reading the background to the songs is such a great touch; and I'm so happy to have a brand new (unscratched) "Sunshine Everyday" which keeps me alert during long drives!
If I ever made it onto Desert Island Discs (I'm not at all famous so it won't ever happen) I can honestly say that I would choose at least two of your songs to keep me going on that desert island.
Very best wishes to you and your family in the coming weeks.

Hi Tony,
I saw you at the Chichester festivities in July. My Granmother knows Jeannie and Paul Rogerson very well and I have known both, as well as Fran Rogerson, since I was a child.
I thought you were fantastic! I am fifteen and when my Granmother invited me I was a little tentative as well, teenager and Grandma you can understand I'm sure, but I absolutely loved every minute. I can't believe that was the first time I have heard of you! I saw Neil Diamond perform a few nights after and the first thing I said to my Dad when I arrived home was, 'He was alright but not a touch on Tony O'Malley though'!!
I thought Fran was brilliant as well. I haven't seen her play before and thought she was incredible.
Thanks for the great start to my summer holidays. It's helped me with my own piano and singing abilities, modest as they are!!

Hi Tony
Thanks for the message re future gigs in the UK. I am booked into the 606 for Sunday bring a few girlies as one of them will be the grand old age of 22 on the day. Persuaded her that it would be a great way to enjoy her birthday - and she always trusts her auntie.
Looking forward to the gig - it will be good to hear you live again - the music is fantastic.

Keep it up Tony, you're one of the cool cats....Ken

You may recall we spoke a few times while Gordon was staying with me in Florida and later while he was traveling throught the US. As a fellow keyboardist I would like to be there to support you with applause (I've heard your stuff and you deserve them) but being it's so near the 4th theres no way I can be there and back here in time to play 'Happy Birthday'.
