Hi Tony,
Very nice to find your site and see you are still playing music and enjoying yourself. As a vinyl purchaser of the 1st Kokomo album and now just having bought the re-issued CD with Rise and Shine and just re-living a bit of my youth, this is to thank you for some good times and great music.

Hi Toni! How are you? I am so sorri that we couldn't have the opportunity to communicate with you in my house. It was a great honour for me to play with you and I will never forget it. And I so hope to see you again anywhere you like.

Hello Tony,
I'm signing your guestbook for old time's sake. Glad to see you're still creating music. You played a great piano at school (I think the tune was 'On the sunny side of the street').
We met up again in Australia in 1977 during your tour with 10CC.
If you're in Wikipedia, you never know who's going to pop up out of the blue from your past!
good luck,
Dermot

No doubt it's true of Muscovites,
that they too dig the late, late nights,
ablaze with jazz-tinged-soul-food banquets,
that warm the cockles, though it's snowing blankets
But as you raise each roof with sweet serenade,
Spare a thought for my Merlot marinade,
It may not cede Pushkin, Akhmatova or Blok,
But there just may be one or two new things that rock.

Dear Tony,
Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening on Sunday at 606. It was a truly memorable evening for many reasons, but mostly, of course, for your beautiful music, your rare, penetrating voice that touches every heartstring, the feeling you put in every song.
Thanks also to your brilliant musicians and your charming backing vocalists. We didn't want the evening to end. We must do it again.
Your music is on my iPod already and I can't stop listening to it, especially Fall In Love. What a song...
Have a grat time in Georgia!
Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year!
Love from Maya,Dato, Rusiko and Irina xxxx

Hi Tony,
My fine, fine friend - you are looking fabulous! Love the new look site too.. It's been so long and as discussed last time we met, it's just been unfortunate having to re-build my life again - which after grafting my ass off for the last few years is going very well and I now own 20% of a large online marketing company which we will hopefully sell in the next few years and I can chill out etc.. But the most important aspect is that I finally married the lovely Han (Asian lady you met..) Anyway, the lovely Jeannie called me and I can't wait to see you all on the 19th October, because we are coming down to the smoke to see you. If I can get through the adoring crowds, I will give you a big fat cuddle! LOL.
Much love and so, so glad things are going well for you mate. You deserve it !)

Are you the Tony O'Malley whose dad used to work at Kodak, Harrow in the 60's? I was an office junior there at the time and used to call on the stores where Joe O'Malley worked. I used to chat to Joe and he told me his son was in a band called Arrival. He even got me a signed photo. (a very important event for me at 16!) Was it you? Just saw your name in a flyer for the 606 club, in Regents Park where i was sitting watching some jazz this afternoon. Kathy

For those with petrol (no diesel please) in their veins, this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed was as wondrous as ever, but I never expected to be stopped dead in my tracks from admiring superb machinery by the truly wondrous sound coming from an adjacent marquee.
All thoughts of motors deserted me as I stood transfixed, until my chums suggested I take a seat and have a proper listen to...Tony O'Malley.
I was almost moved to tears by a love ballad yet to be recorded and then moved to thank Tony himself.
I now have a copy of My Foolish Heart which I played for the first time en-route to work - & oh my goodness, the version of If I Fell just blew me away! How the hell I concentrated on driving I don't know.
The patients at St Richards Hospital in Chichester have a treat in store when I introduce them to the sound of Tony and his friends during my evening broadcasts on the hospital radio service, CHR Chichester Hospital Radio.
Thank you Tony and for the kindness of the lady I spoke to at Goodwood.
Good luck & I shall be watching your career with interest.

Hi Tony: Rudy Vaughn (sax, guitar & vocals - and incredile with all three (3) instruments when he played with our Atlanta based "Guild of Sound,") is coming to London with his own group after winning here a recent national battle of the bands. His sound is unique, and after speaking with him today by phone, I thought I give him your contact information. In the meantime, I miss working with you from our 'ole Kokomo days. If you would, email me at the address that you have. My electronic contact information has not changed, though my addresss has since we last spoke by phone - as yours has as well. Much love! Great gig last night at the 606. Its been over 30 years since we last saw you on a regular basis with Kokomo. Think your voice has got better with age - absolutely superb, and Mel and Neil have not lost their touch either. Its good to see you are still surrounding yourself with great musicians, who enjoy their gig's. Untill the next time - and I promise you it won't be 30+ years, keep up the good work!

Dear Tony
It's a long time since we spoke but I was moved to send this message by finding the YouTube clip of Kokomo doing "I Can Understand It" some time last year and was immediately transported back to the Hope & Anchor on Upper Street in about 1974. Very moving to see you together again, all playing and singing just as beautifully. I wanted to sign you to Island back then but Steve O'Rourke had other plans... ah well. See you again one day soon, I hope.

Tony, great site, have always loved the Kokomo Albums, especially the first, and have just bought the reissued double cd. This has brought me to search for info online, thereby stumbling on your website. I had also been wondering what Hamish Stuart was doing and up popped the info about playing in his pub!
Listening to Kokomo again has been great but now I've listened to your samples I am just going on the net to buy a couple of albums.
Been living in Nigeria for 12 years so buying new music to listen to on my return, hope to hear you playing live soon, also Hamish.

HI Tone, Fem, Patrick and Joseph,
We think of you all and look forward to seeing you soon in Brussels, a city Mary Dover does not like! But Mary, there's no need to be insulting to all the people who live there who are also going through an idenity crisis of there own. Nothing compared to the dreadful things we see coming from Georgia, but just the mis-use of power by people who call themselves polititians and are meant to be working FOR the people, but, like all men in government, work for their own ends.
Words said by people, however well intended - like Mary - are the words that exacerbate the problems of the world and the worst sort of English attitude. Sorry Mary, maybe we will meet one day and sort it out over a bottle of red wine!
LOL to you all!

Hello Tony!
Remember me from the Kokomo days? (I guess it's been about 30 years!) You and I got pretty drunk one night at the pub near the old Royal Free at Grays Inn Road. (Southern Comfort if I remember correctly). I was a student nurse. We met at Dingwalls. We were friends for a while. I had heard you were in Georgia and I was worried about you. I'm relieved to find out that you and your family are OK. Stay safe. You and yours are in my thoughts.

Tony, Femke... You guys have been on my heart for quite awhile now. From the USA, I don't trust the media, always knowing what the motivation was for the attacks however unjustified. Local media here in the USA are only now coming out with what many already knew. On the other hand, I was very glad to get your email a few days ago reporting that you and your Family are well and in the midst of your plans. Please man... stay in touch; I'm on the move too, as I reported in my email response back to you. With much love, respect and hope that one day we'll work together again.

Dear Tony, it was great to see you and the band in the atmospheric 606 club, following the chilly Abbeyfest! "Oh" is fast becoming a favourite, reading the background to the songs is such a great touch; and I'm so happy to have a brand new (unscratched) "Sunshine Everyday" which keeps me alert during long drives!
If I ever made it onto Desert Island Discs (I'm not at all famous so it won't ever happen) I can honestly say that I would choose at least two of your songs to keep me going on that desert island.
Very best wishes to you and your family in the coming weeks.
