Hi Tony
Thanks for the message re future gigs in the UK. I am booked into the 606 for Sunday bring a few girlies as one of them will be the grand old age of 22 on the day. Persuaded her that it would be a great way to enjoy her birthday - and she always trusts her auntie.
Looking forward to the gig - it will be good to hear you live again - the music is fantastic.

You may recall we spoke a few times while Gordon was staying with me in Florida and later while he was traveling throught the US. As a fellow keyboardist I would like to be there to support you with applause (I've heard your stuff and you deserve them) but being it's so near the 4th theres no way I can be there and back here in time to play 'Happy Birthday'.

Hi Tony!! I'm in Jazz again here in Moscow - finishing mixing brand new project of Achi Meparidze. But none of ultra-class gear can bring such a feel, that we got on our records - this feel is even beyond the definition of "friendly warmth" in performance... It's just much more and much musical to describe! Thank You, for making us do this 2 great albums!
Good Luck!

Hello,
My brother and I walked into a bookstore and heard your wonderful music. We got your CD (Audiophile Selection) the next day! I play it over and over again and I never get bored. Your passion and enthusiasm shows clearly through your songs. Friends have heard the CD too and they love it. We're from Malaysia - but my brother and I are in London pursuing our studies. We really hope to see you perform live someday. Only one complaint about the CD - not enough songs!! =)

Tony
Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to listen to your 'Mansarde' CD.
I'm sorry it's taken this long for me to get back to you, but I've only just managed to get my computer up & running again after a period of unsanctioned idleness when it appeared to be contemplating its navel on a beach in Spain, rather than allowing me access to my email & internet server.
The delay however has given me the chance to play your CD 3 times - initially during the later stages of a dinner party & more recently, 2 listenings with the volume cranked up.
I can't say that any of the songs featured, would appear on a list of personal favourites, but they carry enough weight to merit attention through the craft of their composer and live on through the individual interpretation of talented musicians.
You have a fine & distinctive voice & Paata plays the piano beautifully, and this came through on all the songs featured. Like most CD's there were favourite tracks - 'Over the rainbow', probably because I've never heard a man sing it before & 'A song for you' which for me was the highlight of your CD.
Best wishes
Alex

Tony, just found your website and assuming you are the same Tony O'Malley that attended Finchley Catholic Grammar School in the Sixties, a big hello! We had a 40th reunion at FGS last July, attended by about 40 old (now very old) pupils plus partners, and it was a great (if somewhat surreal) craic. Joe Tully, Bernie Brownhall, etc came over from US, Terry Comer from Australia and Ash Stanley and Dave Steele from Canada.
Mick Nelson, Paddy Woodward, Johnnie Wareing and Mike Townend organised it and it may become a bi-annual event.
Your name came up in many anecdotes (a rendition of 'Whiter Shade of Pale' on the school chapel organ, when we were supposed to be studying, lives long in the memory!) and we wondered what had happened to you - I remembered you'd played for various groups inc. 10cc and Kokomo, but was unsure where you now lived and if you still performed.
Anyway, it's great to see you've had a long, happy and successful career and am delighted you still make records. Best wishes to all your family and for the future, slante. Dan
